Aker BioMarine Antarctic, Issaquah, WA, has announced the promotion of Mr. Matts Johansen to the newly created position as Chief Operating Officer. Johansen has served as executive vice president of Marketing and Sales since October 2009. During his tenure he has overseen significant sales growth in North America and Europe, and the development of the Asian markets in parallel with regulatory filings.In this new role Mr. Johansen will be responsible for marketing and sales, business development, regulatory, R&D, shore-based production and process development.
